White ironstone covered soup tureen was produced by Elsmore & Forster, featuring an elegant fluted body accented by graceful scrolling side handles and a finely modeled flower-form lid finial. The sophisticated serving vessel retains its matching domed cover. It measures approximately 10 in. H x 10 1/8 in. in diameter overall. It shows some discoloration and crazing consistent with age.
