20th-century Native woven lidded basket of cylindrical form with a closely fitted flat cover, finely woven from natural and dark-dyed plant fibers. The lid is centered by a bold radiating starburst motif, while the body is decorated with repeating angular and diamond-form geometric patterns. Measures approximately 4 in. H x 7 1/2 in. in circumference. Good overall condition with light wear consistent with age.
