Charming small teapot is a fine example of Southern art pottery from the influential Pisgah Forest Pottery, founded in 1926 by Walter Benjamin Stephen in Arden, North Carolina. The low, well-balanced wheel-thrown body features an integrated handle, spout, and matching lid, finished in the studio's signature brilliant turquoise exterior glaze contrasting with a warm rosy pink interior glaze. It measures approximately 3 1/2 in. H x 6 1/2 in. in diameter including the spout and handle overall. It is offered in good condition.
