This piece has a reserve of $980.An unusual c. 1890 Victorian corner or sewing/work table, made in dark-stained wood with a distinctive shaped, serpentine front. The top is formed from two broad boards with a deep central curve and projecting rounded ends. Below are two shallow, curved-front drawers with brass ring pulls, including a larger pull-out work tray or writing slide. The table stands on four square, slightly splayed legs joined by a strong X-form stretcher arrangement.
