Its symmetrical, architectural facade centers on a narrative relief of robed figures, flanked by arched shelving and projecting end sections beneath raised crests. Shield-bearing figures, spirally carved columns, grotesque masks, foliate scrollwork and paired winged creatures articulate the composition. The ornament evokes Renaissance palace furnishings, combining classical architectural forms with sculptural fantasy.
