The FD-130 poster advertises Quicksilver Messenger Service, Dan Hicks & His Hot Licks, and bluesman Howlin’ Wolf at the Avalon in 1968. As things were winding down for the Family Dogs' stint at the Avalon, the budget for promotion was reduced, and the promoter began using black-and-white images for the posters. The last dozen or so posters from the FD Avalon series relied mostly on photographic imagery.
