Each plate features an open pierced chain style border in white with gold accents, followed by a wide light blue band, then a double gold ring before reaching the large white center, which showcases a hand painted floral bouquet. Each bouquet is unique, as all are individually hand painted. The reverse of each plate bears an English registry mark stamped into the clay under the glaze, corresponding to the registry style used between 1868 and 1883. No maker's mark is present. The plates measure 9 inches in diameter. Condition overall is good, with 6 plates showing no problems. One plate has a professionally repaired edge break using the old staple method, visible on the reverse, and remains usable. One plate has a slight hairline to the edge. Two plates show crazing to the glaze. Most, if not all, of the plates show some wear to the gold gilding along the chain edge and elsewhere, along with surface scratches consistent with age and use.
