A distinctive vintage folding rocking chair handcrafted in Costa Rica, combining a warm solid wood frame with beautifully aged leather. The sculptural design features turned dowel construction, spindle-style arms, crossed folding supports, and long curved rockers. Supple leather forms the sling seat and backrest, giving the chair a relaxed, rustic character while showcasing natural patina developed over time. Its ingenious folding construction makes this an especially interesting example of traditional Central American furniture design. Equally suited as functional seating or a decorative accent, the chair brings warmth and character to a bohemian, tropical, rustic, or eclectic interior.
