AVAILABLE AS A SET WITH MATCHING SHAKER WORKSHOPS CHAIR FOR ADDITIONAL DISCOUNT. When my parents moved to a large house in Memphis, TN, they needed more furniture. They both loved Shaker furniture and decided cherry wood with fabric webbing suited their needs. This Shaker bench sat in my parents' bedroom for over 35 years. They used it to put on and take off their shoes, or to read a bedtime story to their granddaughter Katie. I remember the satisfying creak that wood and webbing make when I sat on it. Dad was still using this bench in 2025. It is sturdy, and would be a functional addition to a front entrance, closet, bedroom, or kitchen. I would love to keep this bench for myself, but my current home is big on location and short on space. The webbing, although still sturdy, has faded from the original slate blue. There are some scuffs and scratches on the legs.
