Length:138cm(54.33in) Width:48cm(18.90in)This work depicts the towering peaks of Mount Emei, with a waterfall cascading down the cliff. Sea of clouds surges among mountains, ancient pines surround a multi-storey temple, and a winding path hides in mist. Rocks are painted with splash ink and texture strokes, with rich ink gradations. The meticulously drawn pavilion stands out amid the ethereal mist, conveying the grand and ethereal atmosphere of the sacred mountain, a fine example of Zhang Daqian’s landscape painting.
