A handsome and versatile grouping of three pairs of antique English brass beehive candlesticks, dating to the late 19th century. This trio forms an instant collection or an elegant graduated table setting, showcasing the refined balance and symmetry characteristic of Victorian brasswork. The largest pair stands an impressive 12 inches high and is raised on substantial 5-by-4-inch stepped square bases, commanding visual presence while maintaining timeless simplicity. The two matching smaller pairs each measure 10 inches high with 4-inch square bases, offering a pleasing scale for mantelpieces, sideboards, or formal dining tables.

Each candlestick is finely turned, featuring the classic beehive motif with concentric ridged knops, and is constructed from solid brass with a richly aged patinated surface. While some examples exhibit minor losses to their original push-up ejector mechanisms-common with authentic period pieces-all six remain fully functional and ready for use. Their untouched surfaces retain the warm character of time, though they can also be polished to a high sheen if desired. Whether styled together for cohesive impact or used individually throughout a room, this well-matched trio offers both historical charm and practical elegance in an enduring English form.

Largest pair: 12" h x 5 x 4"

2 smaller pairs 4" base x 10 h
