A striking midcentury Italian micromosaic picture frame, hand-set with thousands of glass tesserae in a bold black ground accented by white daisy blossoms, soft yellow centers, and emerald foliage. The contrast is graphic and timeless, echoing classical Roman floral garlands reinterpreted for Italy's postwar luxury decorative market.

Each tile is individually placed, creating a luminous surface with rich texture and depth. Finished with a gilt brass surround and folding easel back, this piece was originally designed for cherished portrait display and travel mementos.
