Archive - Original Abstract Painting by J. Kent Martin

Description

Archive by J. Kent Martin presents a richly textured field of layered neutrals-warm taupe, soft gray, and weathered ivory-interrupted by fragments of deep charcoal and olive. The surface feels excavated, as if built from remnants of past impressions and memory. Each mark appears partially obscured, creating a sense of history embedded within the composition. The grid-like structure provides order, while the distressed textures introduce an organic unpredictability. This original abstract painting offers a refined, understated presence, perfect for collectors drawn to subtle complexity and material depth.
