Gesture No. 1 - Original Abstract Painting by J. Kent Martin

Description

In Gesture No. 1 by J. Kent Martin, a horizontal tension unfolds across a dense field of black, gray, and punctuated red, where layered marks and tactile surfaces suggest both disruption and order. The composition reflects an intuitive process of accumulation and removal, revealing history within each striated layer. This original abstract painting carries a strong modern presence, blending industrial tones with expressive gesture-well-suited for contemporary interiors and collectors drawn to moody, textural work.
