Five-waved blade with characteristic fretwork and separately applied forte showing clear evidence of herringbone pattern weld to midsection, with pair of silver baca baca. Grip of horn with cord wrap and flared pommel with silver ferrule. In its wooden scabbard with scrolled opening. Late-19th century. Pommel cap lacking. Deaccessioned from the John Woodman Higgins Armory Museum, Worcester, Ma. Originally acquired December, 1970. Overall length 63.9 cm. Condition II
