The chalice rests on a domed circular foot, shaped like an ogee, chiselled in matte with volutes and aquatic plants. The terrace is underlined by a frieze of canals and asparagus, embellished by six amati and openwork cartouches decorated with symbolic elements of the Eucharist: the glorious cross is accompanied by wheat, bunches of grapes and a blooming flower. The stem has an inverted pear-shaped knot, it is adorned with the same decoration as the terrace and accosted by beaded collars and rings.
