Description
STAFFORDSHIRE AMERICAN VIEW TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC PLATES, LOT OF FOUR, each having black transfer image from the "Picturesque Views / Hudson River" series with floral and bird border decoration, comprising "Troy from Mount Ida", "Nr. Fishkill", "Nr. Hudson", and "Bakers Falls". Marks to underside include printed pattern name and an impressed crown encircled with "CLEWS WARRANTED STAFFORDSHIRE". Ralph & James Clews, Cobridge, England. 1814-1834. 8 7/8" to 10 1/2" D.
