STAFFORDSHIRE AMERICAN VIEW TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC PLATES, LOT OF SIX, each having brown transfer image from the "Picturesque Views / Hudson River" series with floral and bird border decoration, comprising "West Point", "Nr. Fishkill", "Bakers Falls", "Near Sandy Hill", and a cup plate featuring Fort Edward. Marks to underside include printed pattern name, an impressed crown encircled with "CLEWS WARRANTED STAFFORDSHIRE", and star. Ralph & James Clews, Cobridge, England. 1814-1834. 4 1/8" to 10 5/8" D.

Three undamaged, except some having scattered usage wear including light short scattered scratches or glaze wear to rim; "Sandy Hill" mostly undamaged except having a minor flake to foot ring; each "West Point" example having imperfections including one with crack and remaining with scattered chips and flakes to rim.
