Woodrow Wilson Appoints Postmaster of Corydon, IN
Partial-printed DS, 1p, measuring 15.75" x 21", dated April 21, 1914, Washington, D.C. A appointment of postmaster, naming "Frank E. Watson… Postmaster at Corydon, in the County of Harrison, State of Indiana…" for a term of four years. Signed by the President as "Woodrow Wilson" at lower right and countersigned by Postmaster General Albert Sydney Burleson, featuring an embossed gold foil seal from the Post Office Department. Exhibits moderate wear, including general creasing and flattened folds throughout, with darkened toning at far right. A good example overall, boldly signed.
