Meanwhile, the refund takes weeks to process, meaning I lose time, energy, opportunities, and access to funds that should never have been tied up in the first place. So let me get this straight: I win the auction, I pay promptly, you fail to deliver the item purchased, and I am the one expected to absorb all the inconvenience? What exactly is happening with auction houses these days? The bidder carries all the risk, all the delays, all the frustration, while the auction house simply labels it an “error” and moves on. This is not merely disappointing — it demonstrates a remarkable lack of accountability and respect for the buyer.
