George, you asked us to ship (4) antique glass objects that are very fragile, and valued over $500, for $25. We could not accommodate that request. Shipping is a time consuming and expensive service.

Expect an Online Payments Fee and Inflated Shipping Rates
You will be charged close to 3x what FedEx charges them for shipping (even for combined items), and there will be an additional (roughly) 6 % "Online Payments Fee" if you pay with a credit card. My purchase ended up having fees that totaled and additional 57 % of winning bid price. That said, the item was shipped on schedule, and arrived on time.

Kainoa, the online payment fee is roughly 4.7 % for using a credit card. We are unable to price the credit cards fees into our items which is why it is your option to pay with it, or you could've used an ACH transfer for a lower 1.5 %. We shipped your artwork in house from Florida to California for $75. You are correct there are additional fees for purchasing items, but your numbers are incorrect. Quality vintage and antique items from small businesses are much different than other things you'll buy online.

Great items, had to arrange shipping.
It was unclear when I bid on the items I won that Vero Beach didn't provide shipping for larger items (carved foo dogs, about 8 lbs each, 20 "long x 18" high). The local shipping company gave me a very high shipping quote, and Vero Beach suggested UShip, which was great. I found a van transporter who delivered my items quickly (a few weeks) and safely. The cost was considerably lower than the local shipping store. I'm thrilled with my foo dogs, and would definitely recommend buying from Vero Beach Auctions.
