The auction house IEGOR-Hotel des Encans Inc was founded in Montreal in 1983 by Iegor and Martine De Saint Hippolyte.
It rapidly rose to become a North American leader in the international auction field. As the company grew, numerous specialized departments were developed, such as Canadian and international art, decorative arts, jewelry, collections, rare books and oriental arts.
IEGOR has significantly contributed to the growth of the art market in the 25 years that it has actively pursued a passion for art and collecting.
