Hi Jim: Thank you for your comment regarding your purchase. You are correct, we do not use the LiveAuctioneers payment processing system. We utilize our own internal management software. Following auction, we send invoices by email. Within the invoice email is a link to the payment page, which is a single page checkout for inputting and processing your payment. I apologize if this was a struggle for you. In regards to the LiveAuctioneers payment processing: We sell firearms. As one who sells firearms, LiveAuctioneers charges us a significantly merchant processing fee as compared to those who do not sell firearms. Not only this, they are not a direct processor, so they are up-charging on top of another processor with whom they partnered. Then on top of this already expensive up-charged processing service, they punish those who sell firearms by adding additional percentage points on top of their already over-priced merchant service fee structure. I am certain their integrated merchant processing/payment system has created a very nice profit center for them, but it comes at the expense of their sellers and it is unreasonable. Wanted to provide you with some explanation as to why we do not take part in their processing and to also mention that our invoice by email with a single page checkout will hopefully not dissuade you from taking part in future auctions with us.
