I purchased without shipping so I could do local pickup. Probably 10 miles from my brother's house. Instead of saying local pickup was not an option the seller filed a complaint saying I did not pay for shipping not with standing the invoice permitted local pickup. Paid the shipping and still the seller would not ship nor even respond. It is not a significant purchase but this is a seller to avoid in my opinion.

faster shipping... auctioneers wants quick payment, lets get quicker shipping. I think all would agree.

The photo we bought was supposed to be good, but we ended up getting a cheap copy of a print. To make it worse, I ended up paying more than triple for shipping than we should have. I would never trust this company. When they tell you it is from a museum, don't believe them.

I've yet to receive my items or a refund as the items were lost by the auction house in their warehouse. I had to contact them to determine what the delay in receiving the item was, only to determine the order was lost.

All was exellent

I paid in full for item I won at 7/8/24 auction (of onn7/9/24 incl shipping) but Connoisseur has not sent it and does not even answer the phone or respond to numerous voicemails and emails send for past 2 months. Really terrible company.

The print is as described and pictured. Entire process was easy. I'll participate in their future auctions with pleasure.

The item I received bares little resemblance to the item I purchased. The photo used in the auction was magnified multiple times so it appears to have much more interest in the stone. I am disappointed.

After waiting seven weeks for item to arrive, an item different than the one I won at auction and paid for was sent. I realize that Live Auctioneers represent a lot of auction houses but my experience with Connoisseur Auctions was not a positive one

Rec 3 diff invoices for 3 diff amts. Pd 1/2/24 yet still rec invoices for a discrepancy. Finally straightened that out. They are slow to respond, have no interest in cust serv. I've asked multiple times where is my item & rec different responses. After 6 wks 2/15 today I get a note from them that says "sad news" they can't find it. I'll be refunded in 48 hrs. About refunding same day?! I've never had such a terrible experience with an auction house, never again!

Easy transaction, fine packing, and fast shipping! Wonderful sellers!

Called multiple times after the auction, they never once answered or responded to voicemails. 2 email addresses listed sent back failure notices. They did answer a question I sent from their website message board but it was just a random generalization, nothing specific about my items. Apparently they sell via consignment so you have to wait multiple people to get off their hind ends. Don’t buy from this company, it’s not worth the stress.

My item was not as described. I have called with no answer. I sent messages to what is listed on their site … all messages were returned to me. I have no other way to contact them … big rip off …. bait and switch.
