Payment should be through one website. Payment should be one time payment not multiple payments that would make it easier. Most items were shipped instantaneously. Items were packaged very professionally.

Item was well packaged and taken care of. Good folks to work with.

Paid the invoice immediately but the auction house couldn't locate it and filed a dispute with Liveauctioneers. Reached out to the auction house multiple times but never got any responses after 2 months. Eventually Mary T. of Liveauctioneers intervened and the issue was solved immediately and they shipped my items. Thanks much, Mary!

After waiting what seemed like forever for my items to show up, they finally arrived. I was already sour for the added "online fee" which made their buyers premium percentage a lie. Regardless of this, I had sent a few messages wondering where my items were and they NEVER RESPONDED. Finally the other day they arrived and one of the flags was damaged, I messaged this auction house yet again asking what we can do here and again NO RESPONSE. I have never just been blown off before like this, and mind you I spent a great deal of money for this damaged flag that I am apparently stuck with now, rather upsetting.

The item description was accurate and the shipping time was about as expected, however the additional $2k in fees added at the end of invoice were a bit of a shock. Overall satisfied. Thank you.

Weve reached out via phone and several emails to only get what seems to be an automative response. We've tried to settle up with our invoice. We won this lot over a month ago. Buyers don't expect a swift transaction.

Obvious fake. They stated as unknown due to scratches on back so guess they covered theirselves. In hand the “scratches ’ are obvious grinding marks by an electric tool, one side of old belt has all stitches cut so could insert that half of the buckle, other side an obvious recently turned brass screw to open and put the other half of the buckle in the belt. Fake fake fake and I’m not that knowledgeable. $1300 for a fantasy piece. Would never participate in their Auctions again. You would think with a name with historical auctions in their name they would know this was fake in two seconds, I did. And yes I have had a very knowledgeable collector look at it and he knew they second he saw it.

The item's description was accurate. The process was business like.

Won this item over a month ago repeated emails and phone calls no response. Very unprofessional beware maybe you'll get a good deal from them and they'll just ghost you

Great experience bidding with Alexander Historical with the exception of the description of HJ knife grip. They mentioned all the defects of the knife to include the loose inset diamond, but not the crack on the grip itself. Imagine my surprise when I opened the bubble wrapped knife and saw an obvious crack. This is how they described the knife in the auction, “with a black checkered grip and an inset H. J. emblem, a bit loose.” No mention of why the emblem was loose. Hence the title of the review, “zoom in closely before you bid” because had I done so, I would have caught the omission and the crack in the photo. You can learn from my mistake. My bad as well as theirs. On the upside, the helmet I bought from them was very accurately described and fairly priced.

They went above and beyond, quite impressive. Shipping was thoughtful and very reasonable. Trustworthy is a big deal and they are trustworthy. I will be back for more.
