WorldCrest Auctions, Inc. is unique in a variety of ways. It should also be noted that, unlike most gun dealers and auctioneers, Texas auctioneers are heavily regulated. A Texas auctioneer can go to jail for what may be a common practice elsewhere. Most of our employees hold an auctioneer license, which only 50 percent of those who take the test pass it. Unlike most states, you cannot hold an auction in Texas without an auctioneer’s license. This includes eBay (unless you own what you are auctioning and the items were not bought for resell). In regard to the Internet sales, two of the principals hold an ATS (Auction Technology Specialist) designation. This is a special designation obtained upon completion of 30 hours of classroom training and accomplishing certain things in the field. There are only 49 auctioneers in the world with this designation and only three companies with two people having the designation. Finally, WorldCrest Auctions, Inc. is the runner-up winner in the 2013 USAToday/National Auctioneers Associations eNewsletter contest. We beat 815 other auction houses. For the next round, WorldCrest has been nominated for fourteen awards. We have some unique personnel, beginning with our president, Bill Burch, ATS. Bill is one of only 49 people in the world, out of the thousands who have tried, who has achieved the ATS, or Auction Technology Specialist designation. This has given him the expertise to be able to bring from 1,000 to 1,500 people to an auction from throughout the United States through the online Internet bidding. Bill’s political activities began over 35 years ago. Bill’s efforts are one of the principle reasons Steve Munisteri won the chairmanship of the Republican Party of Texas. Bill also was appointed by the Texas Supreme Court to serve as a public director of the Texas State Bar Association. Currently Bill is the chairman of G.R.I.T (GrassRoots Institute of Texas). Bill served in the Army Security Agency during the Vietnam War. In addition to running the company, Bill is a Texas licensed auctioneer and serves as our main auctioneer. Our vice-president is commissioner Jane Burch. Jane served four terms (the maximum one you can serve in a row due to term limits) on the State Republican Executive Committee and served as the chairman of the Auxiliaries and Coalitions Committee. Jane also served as one of our Texas State Fire Commissioners. Jane is also a Texas Licensed Auctioneer. She generally handles the duties of floor manager and cashier. While not working an auction, Jane is one of our appraisers of art objects and jewelry. Paul Burch, ATS is a Texas licensed auctioneer and IT specialist. During an auction Paul is usually involved with keeping all the computers operating as they should. Paul is also the one who set up and runs the WorldCrest Auctions online store. Paul holds the ATS designation. Cheri Boots Sutton is a Texas, Missouri, Illinois, and Florida licensed auctioneer. Cheri is the 1999 International Women’s Champion and in 2012 became the first and only woman to win the Automobile World Championship. Cheri is our first auctioneer. Roger Ward is our national sales manager and served in the United States Air Force. Roger is a Texas licensed auctioneer and, in addition to his sales management duties, works as an auctioneer and ringman for WorldCrest. Richard Rose is our North Texas salesman and served in the Army Special Forces. Rick is currently one of the leaders of the Lone Star Tea Party. Cherlyn Sutton is our first ringman and is a Texas licensed auctioneer. Cherlyn is the 2012 International Juniors Runner-up Champion. Commissioner Steve Berry (R) is one of our ringmen and is currently a county commissioner in Hood County. Steve is also a Texas licensed auctioneer. Ron Ayers is one of our ringman and is a Texas licensed auctioneers. Chris Ann Lee is one of our computer ringman and is a Texas licensed auctioneer. Laraine Bethke is our clerk and is one of the two founders of the pro-life movement in North Texas. Darrel Haynes is one of our Internet ringman and is currently a city councilman for the city of Mansfield, Texas. Jessica Snelson is an electrical engineer and works as a computer ringman for WorldCrest. In addition to gun sales, we sell archery, art, jewelry, and US Navy ship parts from salvaged ships (the only auction company in the world to do so.). We have over one-hundred award-winning artists under contract to sell their art at auction. We hold live auctions in the various counties to raise money for the county Republican Party. We have begun setting up auctions for American Legion Organizations, V.F.W. and Tea Parties. All of our auctions have an online aspect. To date we have never had a disputed transaction.

Prices jump during the bidding. I am unsure if it is LiveActioneers inability to keep the pace of the action or if the auctioneer is not abiding with the bidding increment, as there is no audio provided through this website; they use other sites at the same time that provide audio.

I didn't like the fact that Pay Pal nor credit cards were accepted. I wasn't prepared to have to send cash from my checking account. The process from my checking account to heir checking account, by ACH, took14 days, and several calls from world crest auctions, which i really didn't like

Won the auction on 11/9/2015. Tried to contact WorldCrest throughLiveAuctioneers.com message center to no avail. Also tried the gmail address provided to no avail. Finally got them on the telephone and was told to provide a bank cashiers check. Internal warning bells went off but I did as instructed. I got the bank cashiers check and mailed out on 11/13/2015. I mailed to the snail mail address provided. I also had a copy of the FFL I wanted them to send to included as instructed. On Tuesday, 11/17/2015, I called WorldCrest. I talked to Travis. I told him I mailed out the bank cashiers check and wanted to know if they received it. He said they hadn't received it yet. (I later learned the check was not only received but deposited on 11/17/2015. I called again later several times. A lot of the time, the phone was busy or I got an answering machine. I left my name and number and never received a return call. On Wednesday, 11/25/2015, the day before Thanksgiving, I called WorldCrest and spoke to Travis. He told me that they had not yet received the item and to "check back with them" after Thanksgiving. I called numerous times the first week of December and finally got hold of the female that answered the phone. I asked her the status of the sale and reminded her that they cashed my bank cashiers check back on November 17, 2015. She said that there was no one in the shipping department at the time to check on the status. I hung up with her, frustrated. I called several times the second, third, and fourth week of December to get either a busy number, answering machine (which I hung up on since they never returned my previous calls), and finally Travis on December 21, 2015. I told him that it was 6 weeks after my bank cashiers check was cashed and either send my firearm I purchased or refund my money. He said based upon the delay, a refund was probably in order and Travis promised he would talk to the owner about a refund. I called back on December 23 and reac

Still have not received my gun since I won it on 10/27/15 auction. Took a week to a week & half to get a invoice. Sent cashier check & they received the check 11/09/15. Said the shipper would call. No call talk to a number of people there when they will answer the phone. Now they say they are waiting on the atf to approve their shipping & they were suppose to call today. No call. They are a joke. Ps they also said it was all your fault because of the invoice problem. Any? 's call **********
