Very friendly staff. A good company to deal with

I paid my order, waited for them to ship the items out to me. They drop the item at their local UPS store. The store called me and gave me the shipping price but they also charged me an additional 17 dollars for the shipping box. Which is a JOKE. The seller could have provided the UPS store a box or could have gone to Staples or Officemax to buy a cheaper box. That is the reason why I gave the seller a 2 star rating. Plus the seller promised that they will issue a refund for the box, so far nothing.

The UPS store used to pack and ship is not familiar with miniatures and does not know how to pack them for safe shipping. The cost of packing/shipping Is very high, in my opinion. I would not recommend buying anything large or fragile if being shipped by this UPS store. This is my second experience with this Auction, both with similar results. I will not be participating in any more auctions.

Rhodes is always one of the very best Auction Houses on the East Coast. They always have fabulous items up for bid and quality throughout. Awesome to deal with.

... over boxed under packed inflated cost

Transport company arrived for pickup and items weren't packed, sorted for identification nor ready. An item I did not bid on was sent in error, which I offered to return via their carrier of choice to the winning bidder and rightful owner. I have not heard regarding this situation. Regardless of its minimal monetary value, I can only imagine how upset the other bidder must be. This Auction house lost one LOT of multiple items, which I never received, nor did I receive a refund. They were quick in accepting immediate payment for my purchases (thousands of dollars), but not able to resolve an outstanding issue. Horribly run, mismanaged, disorganized, and wouldn't trust them with anything of value, unless you are personally on sight to bid. I've never had an experience such as this in decades of buying across the world.

My items were rather fragile and breakable. The auction house packaged the items well and everything arrived safely. Would utilize this auction house to sell my things or to buy items from.

Everything involved with the auction was tops. I do resent paying the UPS shipper an extra $10 for a used box though.

I have shopped with the Rhoads for years. They bend over backwards to help their customers.

This organization is a genuine, top-rate, auction house. Running auctions online requires a completely different skill-set, and they have perfected it with seamless bidding, paying, and shipping. In two words they provide Customer Service.

I had a nice and pleasant experience purchasing auction item. I emailed several times with questions and all were responded to quickly. I was very satisfied with arrangements for packaging and shipping, and the pricing was reasonable.
