They did lose a few pieces but all in all I probably did very well.

I always like the auctions that Rhoads puts out but the descriptions on these lots needed to be more detailed.

Feel the descriptions and pictures of the items were somewhat exaggerated as to better side of the quality I was expecting. Even though I arranged ahead of time (2 days) for a pick up time, the items had not been pulled so I had to wait. The auction house forgot one of the lots. I had to contact them. They did ship it to me. I feel they probably would have just kept it had I not noticed. Found out there is a 'pre-auction' for on site attendees the night before. Am not happy with them.

Very reasonable shipping charge which is not my usual experience with liveauctioneers. Suggest you do some policing of shipping policies to ensure a more consistent experience with liveauctioneers.

The cost of shipping and packing was absolutely to the moon. Especially when they, the shipper used old and reused materials and charged for them. This is not the fault of the Auction House.

I know it is a lot to ask but the markings on these pieces are critical in determining a value and more photos/closeups would have been greatly appreciated. Just spread them out and get as many as you can in the picture while still able to read what is stamped on them. OTHERWISE-GREAT as usual!!! Thank you.

Shipping seemed a little high

Misrepresented items in their listings. After contacting them, they would not return my messages or calls in a reasonable time and when they did I was told that they are tired of my complaining. Showed no interest in listening to my feedback. They made false statements on some listings and did not take photo's that accurately showed items condition. I have been doing this for years and they are by far the most rude unprofessional outfit I have dealt with.

Not really their fault, but the UPS store they use to ship is very expensive. Should look for a different vendor.

They were most accommodating and got item to me swiftly; very pleased with their service.

They do think the other auction houses never do

The auction house itself was great to deal with, but the shipping charges were outrageous. Shipping a few pinbacks and charging $30 is almost robbery. I will give the UPS store that handled credit for shipping quickly though. Again, nothing against the auctioneer, except maybe look for a more reasonable place to ship with.

I had an experience of faulty bidding practice called shrilling from an EBay seller a couple of months ago and decided not to use their site for further collecting. I have just started to use Liveauctioneers and have had no problems. I am happy with everything I have bought so far.... Michael

Everything was perfect except the shipping it took ten days for someone from the ups to contact me. I did receive my dollhouse yesterday 4/11 and it was pack very well:) it just took forever.
