First time bidder. Everything went GREAT. I thought that the shipping was takling a long time, so I called and left a message. But the books arrived later that day. They were promptly shipped, i just didn; t get the notification. Overall, it was a very positive experience, and the support team was GREAT.

They shipped quickly, and responded fast. I highly recommend! I will be back to buy more from them:)

This was the first auction I participated in with Appalachian Trading Post and it was a very positive experience. The sign I won was exactly as described, packed very well and shipped promptly upon my payment. I had to contact them a few times and each time I received friendly and professional support. I will not hesitate to participate in any of their future auctions and will bid with confidence on the items of interest. A big "thank you" to the folks at Appalachian Trading Post & Auction.

It’s my first time purchasing anything from this auction house. The item took forever to be received after three direct messages through the platform. I even called them once and left a voicemail, but never heard back from them. Today, I received my comic. I will say that it came in the condition they described and was well packaged. I am pleased with that. Overall, I would have been okay with waiting longer for my item. if they would have communicated that to me or any updates after paying my invoice quickly. No complaints on the payment methods.

Paying my invoice has been an absolute nightmare as it was an overly complicated process compared to most other auction houses. Poor communication is an understatement and I will never bid with Appalachian Trading Post again!!

Appalachian Trading Post was hit hard when hurricane HELENE hit southern Virginia. I had a question and called to pay and they answered and were friendly and helpful. I hope they manage to get past their difficult times, because my experience with them has been top notch. I hope to do more business with them in the future.

Won a lot of comics, never heard from them again.

Won my lots shortly before christmas so I was expecting an extended delay for shipping but customer service quickly responded to all inquires. Upon receiving my lots, one of them was mislabeled and they resolved it fairly quickly and satisfactory.

They make you give checking account number, Then when you object they file a complaint with live auctioneers so I pay. Then they ghost me and never ship!

Nice auction house. Items were exactly as described and good quality. However, my issue was with the third-party shipping ($66 for less than three pounds of items that would have easily fit in a USPS Priority Box for less than $20). Just factor this in when bidding.

Over $180 in shipping cost. Outrageous. Not sure who is responsible for this, but it is by FAR. The most I have paid for shipping/handling.

Appalachian was professional and helpful in all respects. My dissatisfaction stems from processing payment through Liveauctioneers, who levied an unannounced and unjustified fee on the transaction. Frankly, I'd like the money back; no wonder POTUS has targeted extortionary fees by businesses.

I had my eye on two paintings for quite a while before the live auction began. During that time I asked Appalachian Trading Post about the artist, cost of shipping, and details in regards to mailing a check. The Auction company was very responsive. My bids won during auction and I purchased both paintings. The Auction company reached out to me right away and gave me the contact information for UPS. They also let me know as soon as they received my check in the mail which I really appreciated. They dropped off the paintings at UPS. UPS sent me a price estimate right away. Everything went very smooth. All of my questions and concerns were answered immediately. The paintings arrived in perfect condition. They are just as gorgeous as the photos. I am so happy with my purchase. I am definitely interested in upcoming auctions listed by Appalachian Trading Post. I would love to work with them again. Especially knowing how wonderful they have been. My experience was perfect and I would definitely recommend them to other customers and collectors. Their inventory/collection is beautiful.

The auction gallery was very responsive, but not very helpful. Shipping for your items is not only NOT included but it is outsourced to a local shipping company (who were very nice). To pay for shipping you need to make a profile and submit separate payment with a prescribed amount of time. This is too much of a hassle for me. I will not be bidding on anything in the future from this auction gallery.

All of the comics in the Spider-Man and Fantastic Four lots have been trimmed 1/16 'on 3 sides. It is impossible to tell from the listing photos that these are ruined books, good only as cheap reader copies. Even then all sales of these books will have to be noted as trimmed copies to be an honest sale. The short boxes had all the decent titles, very few, displayed in the photos. What wasn't shown was stacks of Independent publisher title duplicates. It's like a bad movie that has all the good parts in the trailer with the rest a waste of time and money. I am VERY disappointed in the purchases from the seller. I will not buy from them again and suggest you be careful of their lots. I may not can caution all but at least I can warn a few.

Would definitely participate in future auctions. Very professional and answered every question I had prior to and after bidding. All shipping was handled by a subcontractor and the process was simple, reasonable and affordable. Great experience!!
