We enjoyed doing business with Slotin Folk Art. The pottery pieces we bought were in perfect condition. We chose to pick ours up and make a road trip out of it. When we got there everyone was nice and friendly.

The item I purchased (early to mid 20th century hooked rug) was described as in excellent condition. This is not the case. It has areas in disrepair and large areas have obviously been patched with a fiber not consistent with the original. Needless to say we still like the rug but I would not have bid nearly as high, (or maybe not at all) if the condition had been correctly assessed. I regret my purchase. I have bought many items of outsider and folk art from Slotin before and have generally been happy.
