All 3 items I purchased had damage. They had chips and cracks. Some chips had been colored in. Auction house wanted me to contest with shipper when none of the items were damaged in shipping. They were already damaged and the auction house refused to accept responsibility.

Coordination of shipping and packing by outside company was excellent for a huge oil painting. I was needlessly worried.

I am very pleased with the item I purchased in the auction. Accurately described! Good response to question. With no-in house shipping, the cost to ship was much higher vs shipping with USPS Priority Mail medium box in this case. Their outside shipper did an outstanding job. I understand that an outside shipper has a cost to pick-up, package, and ship, plus a fair profit margin. However, I am of the opinion that if auction houses offered in-house shipping, although possibly a longer delivery process due to a jump in volume after each sale, the firms will see increased bidder participation which means higher prices for the consignors as well as higher revenue from the buyer's premium on each lot. Overall very pleased with the quality and service this firm offers!

Their only reply was we gave item to shipper!!!! Never any follow-up didn't try to locate missing items!!!!!!! UPS said that they never received items to ship.

Transaction was OK. It's often painful to arrange shipping with 3rd parties. It's unfortunate more sellers don't offer shipping.
