The UPS store that they affiliate themselves with is a monster rip off for shipping! I calculate from shipping lable what my cost would have been to ship, $31.00. I was charged $130 to pick-up and ship, with owner telling me they pick-up from the auction all the time. Packing materials was $10 at most, excessive shipping charges! I find myself buying less and less due to these horrendous shipping charges.

Communication was poor. Multiple emails and phone conversations were made. Emails were not responded to. My check was cash, but there was no response or notification that they had received the check.

When I opened the shipping box for this rug, there was so much dust and dirt that I couldn’t even take it out without filling my home with a dirt cloud. Not sure if it was shipped with a ton of dirt or the box had holes and it picked up all this dusty dirt in transit. Either way, it could’ve been protected if it had plastic covering the rug, but it didn’t. I had to have a professional rug cleaner pick it up in the shipping box and professionally clean it before I could even unroll and look at it. After I got it back, I saw that the coloring is SO different than it was depicted in the auction listing that I didn’t even recognize it. I am aware colors can look somewhat different online, but the difference here is crazy (e. g. light blue gray is actually light brown, red instead of fuschia, unexpected orange, etc). Overall this was a fruitless money pit and huge inconvenience, and now I’m stuck with a rug with colors that don’t match my decor at all and a $700 cleaning bill that could’ve been avoided if it had just been wrapped in plastic.
