The communication is poor and feels like it’s an AI bot. I suspect it is. The auction was 3 weeks ago and they generated a tracking number but the items have yet to actually ship. I believe they generated a tracking number quickly to show Live Auctioneers that it’s shipped but in reality it has not.

It's so nice to deal with a well-run company. Though I found the email train a bit confusing, I'll chalk that up to my being a rather newbie to online auctions. The item is better than described and hard to find.

My experience with Chairish Auctions has been awful, I have never had to deal with any company on liveauctioneers as bad as Chairish. I bid and won a painting on the Modern & Contemporary Session 1 Auction on Jan 12, 2026. I selected that I would arrange my own shipping. I received was an invoice from liveauctioneers on Jan 29. This invoice included a charge of $440.00 for shipping. I specifically designated that I would handle my own shipping but was told now that I couldn’t do that! One month sooner I had purchased a similar sized painting and it was packed and shipped to me via UPS in Tampa, FL for $162. Chairish stated that the item was in Pennsylvania, even eastern PA is of similar distance. Now there might be a little bit of difference in shipping cost, but it is certainly not 270 % more expensive. After complaining about the excessive cost, I was basically told that it is what it is. Last week I contacted liveauctioners about the fact that the auction was Jan 12, my credit card was charged per invoice on Jan 29 and here we are a month after the auction and 2 weeks after payment and still nothing, not a word from Chairish! I contacted liveauctioneers shipping on Feb 12, and was told to contact Chairish. Chairish is operating under the liveauctioneers umbrella and I never gave my payment information to Chairish and so payment had to be handled by liveauctioneers and no doubt liveauctioneers was paid for hosting Chairish on their website. I sent an email to Chairish on Feb 12 and have not had a response to date. I am frustrated with Chairish and regret having dealt with them and not to make that mistake again!

The communication re: receiving the item I won at auction was excellent, whether it was in regard to the auction itself or the follow up regarding shipping. I'm new to auctioning given I've only done it a few times, but when ready will jump in again. I got some wonderful pieces and am so grateful to have received these earrings I currently won at auction. You're trustworthy and professional at what you do. Thanks you!

Won and paid for item on December 8th. Auction house never shipped my item and after several attempts to get someone to accept responsibility or be held accountable. It never happened. I’ve still yet to receive my item almost two months later and they didn’t even offer to give a refund after I asked because nobody ever gave me tracking information. Had to open a dispute with my bank. I’m sure this is an outlier, but one unhappy customer is too many.

The Ghost chair was delivered by a gentleman on his own, not in a box or in any way protected, or covered. He just left the chair at my door. The other item was left in a broken down, ripped LOWE's shipping box, with the item, again unprotected inside, but surrounded by empty USPS boxes. Very odd.

Item as described and delivered fast

On January 3rd, I received an invoice for a piece I bought at auction and immediately paid in full for both the piece and shipping charges. By January 9th, I had not received an update and reached out. On January 12th, I followed up for an update and received a reply that they were still waiting on their vendor to provide a shipping update. As i had not received any updates, on January 20th, I followed up to again ask for an update and notified them I was considering cancelling the sale. I then received a reply that their vendor was waiting on their consignor for an update as to when they would drop off the piece. So, in short, no one actually knows if this piece actually exists. Chairish does not appear to have anything in physical inventory, but rather relies on a network of sellers, who in turn do not need to have anything in physical inventory, but who also rely on a network of sellers. Yet, they have no problem advertising pieces, auctioning them, taking your money for both the object and shipping; even though no one can actually verify if the piece exists.

I bid an amount. The auction site said that I was the high bidder, but that my bid was less than the Reserve Amount, so I was not winning the auction. No big deal. I found something else to buy on another site. Then I was notified that I won the auction. The seller had lowered the reserve or accepted my bid. Yes, I had agreed to pay the amount I had bid, and I was somewhat happy to have won it. But once I was made aware that I was NOT winning it, that should have been the end of it. Bidders can't reasonably bid on multiple items if they don't have an accurate indication of what they are winning. That said, the item arrived promptly and in good condition.

Seller is a liar and will attempt to cheat you. Will not indicate if products are fakes, so they are trying to fool you. Cheats! Beware!

I won this item at auction, but the seller says it had already been privately sold. My credit card has been charged for the full amount and I have attempted 3 times to get Chairish (whose was the auction house) has yet to respond to my request for a refund.

I had a question about one of the items coming up for auction. I emailed them, and they promptly got back to me. They did some research and even replied to me a second time, again promptly. I bought one item from them, and the invoicing, payment and shipping all went thru seamlessly. I received the item in less than a week, well packed and in perfect condition. I definitely will do business with the again.

Great piece a perfect price.

I've been e-mailing and calling and been getting the run around and I no longer care if I buy something on Live Auctioneers ever again. How disgusting to have to make multable phone calls and emails with many photos of something I never bid on that I had to pick up because I never received a tracking number then had to pay for a cab to get home only to find out they sent me the wrong item, a damaged one at that! Absolutely no one is interested in resolving the situation, it's my problem......... Let me explain to you why it is my problem, after decades of buying on liveauctioners with no problems, I bid on something from Cherish Auctions and I might add formally Jasper on this web sight. All of a sudden I'm some crazy person speaking in tongue trying to get people that dont know me or the situation to help me understand why I was sent something I didn't purchase.... Hopefully my credit card company will be more helpful since we have a 50 yr relationship........... nthis stupid ********** sucks........
