Russ Hayward and Shawna Hayward started Midwest Auctions, Inc. in 1989. We sell primarily Native American Indian items as well as civil war and old west.

Russ has been a compensated instructor, appraiser and speaker for the states of Wisconsin and Illinois. He has been recognized by those states as the Midwest's leading authority on Indian artifacts. Russ has been recommended by the University of Iowa Archeological Dept to appraise various items brought to them, resulting in the owners having Midwest Auctions selling their collections
