A Beautiful Gubelin Clock
Clock was better than described. While the description was nit entirely accurate (clock face is enamel, not porcelain), the clock arrived extremely well packed. After a minor adjustment, it started working and keeping time. Thank you.

Other than a little confusion regarding whether to pay her, on site, or directly, and also some confusion regarding shipping with liveauctioneers or with a local NYC shipper suggested by Capsule, this was a wonderful experience, and still very good! Once I got all of that figured out, Capsule was terrific and pleasant, and Rick and Lisa at the suggested shipper were AONDERFUL to work with. They also boxed and shipped my 4 lots like the pros they are. Could not have been happier! THANKS ALL for your kind help and attention!!!

Valuable antique item arrived shuttered in pieces
A valuable historical ancient item arrived shuttered in pieces, basically destroyed. The recommended packing/shipping company is absolutely terrible and should no be trusted with anything worth more than a dollar. Whether this is an item handling, packing, or shipper vetting issue, it is a huge disappointment and a disgrace. An over 4000 year old item destroyed by unprofessional, poor quality handling.

NYC Auction House-Amazing Service
I had some personal complications that prevented my scheduled pickup. The folks who answered my call were simply amazing. The were kind and understanding, and I can report that was not a one off situation. Due to personal circumstances, my sister was looped into picking up my winning piece. And she too reported that the folks at capsule were helpful and courteous as well. Not something you expected out of a Manhattan auction house. I would highly recommend purchasing from this team and will be keeping an eye on upcoming events. Would much rather support those who treat others well. The transaction was seamless as you would expect these days. But it’s the customer service that will bring you back!
