They provided a list of shippers, all of whom were responsive and provided quotes within a day or two. Once a shipper was selected I didn't have any problems. I believe they also offer in-house shipping which appeared to be good but was more expensive. Very responsive staff that answered my questions about the painting I purchased (including detailed condition questions). Overall, a good experience. Thank you!

I won't be doing business with Capsule Gallery again. They automatically including shipping on my invoice, selecting an anonymous shipper in advance. To ship a single small unframed and unmatted print cost over $70. Thirty-four years of experience in the art business assures me this is excessive and well beyond what other reputable auction houses/shippers would charge. The entire process was also notably slower than usual, even during the pandemic. They try to make it an entirely digital experience, but I prefer the personal touch provided by so many reputable auction houses. If you do choose to do business with Capsule, just be forewarned of potentially excessive shipping costs.
