Ripped Me Off
This auction house ripped me off. I bought two dolls on auction on April 27, 2025. I paid for them as soon as I received their invoice. Since that time I have written them several times inquiring when I would get a shipping bill. They refused to answer. It has been a month with no response from them whatsoever and no dolls. I am am having to request my bank to reverse my payment for the dolls on my credit card.

Sorry that you felt you had to post such a negative review. We would not and do not ever "ripped people off". We do not remember any past contacts from you, either email or phone. We do however get many emails and perhaps it was missed. Our apologies for not contacting you and explaining the issue. We do still have one of your dolls # 412. However we have not been able to locate the other one. It may have been picked up or delivered to the wrong person. We are still trying to find out what happened with it and trying to see who may have received it in error. If they/she did receive it, we have not heard. As far a "shipping bill", as stated White's Auctions does not offer in house shipping. You did not choose Live Auctioneers shipping when you paid your invoice. In that case, when lots are paid, they are picked up by the local UPS and they contact bidders regarding shipping costs and are paid directly. Shipping options are explained on our websitewhitesauctions.com. If you still want Lot 412, let us know. If not, you can choose to cancel the sale completely. Again, sorry for the miss up. Not to make excuses but we had over 600 lots which included several doll lots.

Beware Third-Party Shipping Costs!
I have purchased from White's in the past and have had good experiences, so maybe this was a one-off. First of all, their third-party UPS shipper was difficult to communicate with and ended up being more expensive than the usually outrageous LiveAuctioneers shipping. Second, one of the coins described in the Lot as "damaged" was actually a counterfeit. The only offer was to return the entire Lot for a refund, which would have put me out nearly half of what I paid, just for shipping back and forth. No thank you!

Fantastic footstool
Very happy with this footstool! Shape is great and size is useful. Easy drive for pickup and team at auction house very friendly. Bonus was that there was a Friendly’s restaurant nearby so I had a coffee Fribble. Look forward to next auction and more treasures.

Your lot was delivered to Qwik Pack & Ship on or about August 21st. Not sure why you have not heard from them regarding shipping cost. White's does not offer in house shipping.

Seamless transaction. Wonderful business
Worth the pleasant 2 hr drive for me. Very accommodating business. I was even helped to load furniture I purchased. I was running late, they said no rush. Absolutely a perfect experience from beginning to end. Lovely people run it. They make you feel like that song from "Cheers"

What a wonderful experience
A great family-owned business. I called ahead of time to mention that I was driving in from New York to pick up my item. I was two hours late and they stayed there to make sure I had help putting my table in my car. The item is exactly how it was photographed. Totally worth the drive!

Terrific until it comes to Liveauctioneers shipping.
Been buying from White's for close to 10 years. Even attended several in person. But since Live Auctioneers required all shipping through them; what used to take days now takes weeks. I paid the invoice immediately, yet it still took 3 weeks, a couple phone calls and finally a direct email to have my 6 little toys shipped. It's not White's fault, but complaining to Live Auctioneers doesn't seem to do any good until several weeks go by after the auction ends. They should have the option to ship in-house.
