The best company to do business with buying and selling

Bought a watercolour that was framed and described possibly Maxfield Parrish! Well turns out it was by him and now I have a bargain buy just going on a hunch and a bit of knowledge

Description is not perfect. There is a large crack on the bottle. I see this when bottle came to me.

I buy quite a lot of items from a variety of auction houses and this one by far is just so easy and kind, sweet to deal with and accommodating!! I really appreciated them!! I'd buy more here for certain.

Because I live in Florida I was able to personally inspect all the items I was interested in. They were extremely helpful with my inspection and delivery of my purchases. Totally professional on all counts.

I'm grateful, I found Helmuth Stone. I've purchased from hundreds of auctions and have had to return misrepresented items, like paintings, that ended up actually being prints. I couldn't tell, online, if this particular piece, was another "Clever Print", by the same artist, that I had this problem with before, so I contacted Helmuth Stone "Before" the auction and asked them to look closely for me. They did. I won the item and received it and it was "The Real Deal". I will be buying "With Confidence", from Helmuth Stone Gallery, in the future.

So many of the items I purchased were heavily damaged, chipped and cracked, making them worthless. None of which was mentioned in the descriptions. I bid on a lot of items in this auction and only won 3 lots. Thank God! I am furious. What a waste of money. Thanks for nothing.

Good communication with the gallery. It's the very first time that I buy an oil painting. We didn't talk about the colors, but I was disapointed when I received the painting because the real colors of it are different than the pictures on the net. Much darker... Always ask about real colors before buy! Antoine
