University Archives

The University Companies began in 1979, but it was more than ten years prior to this that founder John Reznikoff first began collecting. During over 40 years in business, University Archives has bought and sold over $250 million worth of autographed books and manuscripts. John Reznikoff's name is synonymous with authenticity in the autograph world. He is the only expert who consults with both PSA/DNA and JSA, accepted third-party companies in the trade, and he is also regularly called upon to assist dealers and major auction houses in the book and manuscript trade. In addition, Reznikoff's skills have been used in State and Federal court and by many different agencies of law enforcement, including the FBI. This means that your purchases are backed by a level of knowledge and integrity that is second-to-none. In February 2021, the firm moved to new headquarters in Wilton, Connecticut. Our new home is a 6,000-square-feet space in a Class A corporate office building with a
1,500-square-feet temperature-controlled and fully secured storage facility that can house bulkier consignments. Contact us today!

I found the auction house premium of 28 % to be excedingly high.
The only complaint I have with this auction house is their exceedingly high auction house premium which is 28 %.

Always an EXCELLENT experience
It is always a pleasure dealing with University Archives. Their item descriptions regarding condition/authenticity are 100 % accurate, and their photographic presentation of the items are exactly the quality needed by collectors/dealers. Seemless invoicing, payment processing and quick/secure shipping is among the best in the industry.
