Lot was just as described. Shipping handled in-house which made purchase much easier. Packing was excellent. Would purchase In the future from a Taurus without reservation.

I purchased a large o/c painting in a wooden frame. The packing process to ship the painting to me was done by an amateur who was obviously in a great hurry and never thought the total process through! It was packed in a flat screen TV cardboard slip case. The packing around the painting consisted of an inadequate amount of bubble wrap which allowed the painting to move up and down and forward and backwards as the top and bottom of the slip case were not securely taped together. The corners of the wooden frame were protected with hard Styrofoam corner pieces (which failed and broke due to the painting shifting up and down in the box.) There should have been additional foam padding at the frame corners to insure cushioning. Hence, when the framed painting was removed from the box, the frame came apart into two pieces and the canvas has two damaged areas along the lower right side. Needless to say, this is a situation which would have been avoided if the packing was done by a Professional. I would proceed with caution when purchasing from this auction house. David P. , MFA
