After the auction, there was a slight delay of two days from when I initially wrote about shipping and handling progress and when I received a response. However, I understand this is a small auction house and the item arrived well packed and quickly after that. I would bid on items from Lodestar again.

Very good service, especially for shipping. I expected it to be highler due to the amount of prints I had won at auction, but it came to around $100us. Very happy to have done business with this auction house and will be following them for future auctions. Would recommend, A + + +

Won a large wooden statue. While it shipped quickly, the item arrived broken in 3 pieces! The entire base of statue broken off. It was packed in used box and filled with packing paper and a few pieces of duct tape closing the package …. not sufficient for a piece weighing 40lbs! No fragile labeling noted on package! Tried notifying auction house, only to have my request for shipping refund of $100 fall on deaf ears. Was told i’d be sent a follow up email, that never came. Not likely I would buy again or at least seek a third party shipping company that knows how to pack a piece of art!

In house packing for shipping was POOR! One the 9 decoys shipped all together in one box was damaged-broken primary feather. It was the best becoy in the lot and reason I budded. Lonestar should use more bubble wrap around delicate items.

This was the first transaction I’d had with Lodestar and was a pick-up item. Everything went as smoothly as I expected. Highly recommended.
