I guess I'm one of the lucky ones. They're only getting me for 110.00 bucks. After winning a CAmaro Silver Coin, my first oddity was they suddenly are unable to execute payments by Credit Card. Huh??? Despite serious misgivings, I did as they instructed and sent them a check. Big mistake. Bye bye 110.00 dollars. Listen, I usually buy thousands of dollars worth of stuff on Liveauction. Thankfully, this is an inexpensive lesson, it could have been far far worse, as others in these reviews clearly attest to. Avoid like they've got Plague!!!

Actual coins don't match pictures posted for auctions. Get payment reminders stating expectation is payment that day, not 3 days after the auction. KDC expects immediate payment but then takes up to 21 business days to ship orders. I no longer trust.

they cashed my check in December still haven't received coins multiple emails and texts sent called customer service... was given the run around about shipping department.

Bought two rolls of 10 Morgan’s, had all sent to NGC for grading. 50/50 came back Cleaned/actual MS grades. I bought two in the same auction so I wasn’t able to use my cc and had to wire transfer the money. I didn’t like that and felt that rule wasn’t clear due to it being a “multi day auction”, thinking it was 2 separate auctions. I was very skeptical because of some bbb and LA reviews, but did the wire transfer anyway. I received no confirmation other than “yes we received it” when I called customer service. The coins did come registered mail within about 3 weeks though. I am 50/50 to buy another roll, if I do, it would have to be for the right price and definitely below the “wire transfer only” threshold. Overall, customer service was nice, but hard to get a hold of at times, I received the coins, and I felt the roll “gamble” went good, but not great. Definitely had a better experience than some of other people claimed to have had on their reviews.

Joined auction. Won item. THATS IT NO tracking number NO update. Ive called, sent messages. NOTHING. The ONLY reply for every message I sent is "Ive reached out to our shipping manager for a update on your order once she advises on the status I will have more details" ive reached out to live auctioneers for help. They also have a difficult time getting a hold of someone and when they do? The same reply as above.

They took my money NEVER sent my items. Promised to send a refund but NEVER DID. My case is going into litigation. Stay away if you don't want to get cheated.

Never received my paid for item. Never heard back after multiple attempts to reach them both via phone and email.

They have owed me almost $30k in coins for a couple months. All emails go unanswered and forget calling customer service as the NEVER answer. I encourage all buyers to go eslewhere so this does not happen to you!!

Key Date Coins has yet to deliver all my product and the product theu did send is damaged or incomplete sets missing coins from them. Terrible dealers.

Purchased $2500 worth of product back in November and still have not received most of the order and the portion they did send is damaged, and has incomplete sets.

Buyers beware!! I purchased 2 coins on October 3, 2025 for a total of $1, 014.55 and when the coins arrived, they were not in the same condition as the coins shown in the auction. I contacted KDC and reported my concern and they agreed with me and I was told to return the coins and they will swap them out for better ones and return to me. I sent them and tracking shows receipt by KDC and I was also told via "Messages" that the coins were received by KDC and it might take some time to get them swapped. I sent a few messages over the next couple months and kept being told they were waiting to hear from Jordan to understand when my coins would be coming back. It's been nearly 3 months since KDC received my coins back and KDC hasn't responded to any of my messages or emails since Jan. 15, 2026. The action taken by KDC is nothing less than Grand Theft. I have reported the situation to the support department at LiveAuctioneer's and hopefully they can convince KDC to do what they said they would so I do not have to waste any more time pursuing this unethical situation. How can anybody think this is acceptable or that they will not ultimately be held accountable for taking a customer's property valued over the grand theft limit? I have spent thousands of $$over 6 months with KDC and this still happened. Is there no feeling of remorse by those that know they have done this to me? Of course, I cannot and will not stop pursuing this loss until I am made whole again. Hopefully, I don't have to lawyer up to get KDC to respond again after these months have passed, but I have a bad feeling I will be doing exactly that in the next weeks.

Key Date Coins (KDC) could NOT acquire my coins as described in their online auctions 45 days after I completed my online auction purchase thru LiveAuctioneers.com in Oct 2025. I requested a refund of $6, 721.83 (2 auctions) for my purchase in Nov 2025 multiple times for Invoice's ********** & ********** on Live Auctioneers. I also sent a certified letter Dec 12, 2025 to their, 148 Route 73, Suite 3-184, Voorhees, NJ 08043 address which is a “UPS Store” postal mail box service. KDC had NOT refunded my purchase (s) and stopped contacting me after I requested my refund in Nov 2026. As of today, KDC has only responded to me twice... once in Nov 2025 to let me know that they could NOT acquire my coins and second time in late Nov 2025 stating the will send my refund check which has NOT arrived as of Feb 2026. I've been buying coins for over 25 yrs and KDC inadequate response (s), immoral business practices and neglect to customers is unprecedented! LiveAuctioneers.com has monitored my online complaints to KDC but has not been able to assist me in any other way recovering my refund of $6, 721.83 for the online coin auction (s) purchased as of this posting. This is my circumstance with KDC, yours may be different. I can only recommend filing a complaint with the New Jersey State Attorney office, Better Business Bureau, and the FBI Internet Crime Complaint Center (www. ic3. gov). You can also post to “Google” and “Yelp” where there are other complaints concerning Key Date Coins ’ service.

I have been dealing with this auction house since November 27. I purchased over a thousand dollars of items. It did contact them to please cancel the gold coin off. They were nice enough to do that. I then wired my payment to them using my bank. They called me that Live Auctions were charging to much for shipping and they could ship it cheaper. To save money I did agree with that. That was a mistake because it took them a long while to ship one box. They sent me all the cheap items only. When I got the box it said everything I was missing was in box two. Of course that was a the silver items. It is Feb 11 and I have not received the box. I have called them emailed the and Live Auctions has been trying to contact them and Key dates coins are not responding to emails or calls from them. I lost a lot of money when silver was over one hundred a oz. Do Not Trust This Auction House Key Dates Coins.

Key Date Coins has almost $10K of my money for auctions that I won back in November. I have read a lot reviews that say the same. Why does Live Auctioneers still do business with them???!!!!

After bidding closed they announced they no longer accept credit cards. ACH or check. Very inconvenient and only suddenly announced. Sent check. Check cleared. Despite repeated emails and voicemail inquiries for shipping info: Nothing. Nada Crickets. Scammers? If no response, will pursue them in small claims court.

Key Date Coins are hands down the best online auction site I’ve dealt with, and there’s no comparison! They respond promptly and fully to questions, go above and beyond in providing accurate information and context on coins in their listings, make it easy to pay for purchases, and ship promptly. I have dealt with Key Date Coins several times and everything went wonderfully. Phoned them once with a small request and it was taken care of immediately. Additionally Justas and the other auctionners put on a very good and entertaining show. very Enjoyable and makes for a fun night

I'm extremely disappointed with this experience. As of now, there has been no resolution. I have requested a full refund due to the delay. Like the Headline says DONT DO IT, I wouldn’t suggest this auction house to someone I hated, that’s just how bad this auction is! You have a question on an item or really anything, don’t hold your breath waiting for a response cause you won’t make it. I sent many messages to these clowns and after a week or better you MIGHT get a response and that’s a huge might. I was the winning bidder on some items and when I went to pay, they don’t accept credit card all the sudden yet when I went back to that specific auction they held, right there clear as day, WE ACCEPT VISA, MASTERCARD, AMEX, and DISCOVER. Sent them many messages saying I was ready to pay with my card and after approximately a week, they responded with don’t accept credit card, you can wire transfer or Venmo. I want some protection from my credit card and these other options don’t give me that extra protection, cause I sure don’t trust this auction. So I didn’t want to do it but I paid for one invoice using Venmo to I guess test the water. Glad I did cause that item that I PAID for has never shown up and I’ve never even received a tracking number! They auction off a ton of coins but beware cause they will change things up on you as far as payment options and you may pay for your items and never receive them. Like I said I wouldn’t recommend this auction to my worst enemy, they are that HORRIBLE!
