This item i was so excited about winning, now after waiting forever to recieve the item, they say it was delivered along with other items i have not recieved from another auction. I have done good business with this auction house and all had been well until now. But this is alot of money spent with them trying to say that the items are delivered. I have asked multiple times for someone to call me to sort this out, but nothing. very disappointed. i have just completed another auction with them for multiple items but feel this maybe my last time bidding with them. Think carefully before going anywhere near Great Canadian Auctions!!!!!!

I was intitially told that the item was being returned to Great Canadian Auction House and that once they got the items back they would resend them to me. However i have reached out multiple times now asking for an update and tracking number for this and another invoice that im still waiting to recieve and have had no response. I message them also with my phone number asking for a call and as of yet have still not recieved the call. This Auction house is normally very very good, but i have to say these last transactions have been very disappointing.

Great Canadian Auctions is a SCAM!!!! Live Auctioneers is a SCAM!!!! Do not order from them. I ordered items for birthday gifts in late September. Throughout the coarse of over 4 weeks they would not send me shipping information. They said the reasons it is taking longer than expected is because of tariffs and a strike goin on in Canada. That is a lie. They charged me for the order and tariffs the day after I placed the order. I told them I want a refund. They said they would send me a refund that it would take 3-5 business days to process. That was in early November. It is now December 19th and I have still not received a refund. They stopped responding to my emails. The Live Auctioneers customer support has been no help. They will lie to you and say there is nothing they can do since the payment was processed through a 3rd party. They will drag you along and come up with excuses. The order was placed through the Live Auctioneers website. We will see how the Better Business Bureau, Federal Trade Commission, and the FBI's Internet Crime Complaint Center. If this is still not resolved, I will travel to New York and file a lawsuit in small claims court. Almost 3 months and no progress.

My package had the incorrect address. I was fortunate to be able to find my package at a neighbor's home. They had taken it in and opened it thinking it was for them. Lucky for me, they are honest and kind people and had kept the package. The most disappointing and disturbing part of the shipment was the fact that the jersey that I had bid on and purchased was not the one that I received. If I had been notified after my purchase and given other options including a return or credit of my funds, then that would have demonstrated a professional company and communication. Buyer beware!

2auctions with this co. 5/26 & 6/9, first one they called me a liar, until they realized they sent to wrong address, so I had my bank pull money on both auctions since they have little to no response on inquiries on where my items are, to which they disclosed the address sent for which I drove to and retrieved my items, then I paid them, with never an apology just nothing and they let these disputes posted, so I just got declined an auction registration for this mess, I most blame live auctioneers for this since they let any crooked con sell and continue to do so, so be careful and read reviews because only you have your own back, I have 636 wins on the site some one item, most more, some over 20, but this house is one of the worst and if they won't acknowledge my honesty I will call them on theirs, BUYER BEWARE

I won two auctions. One in August and one Sept 1. Paid the auctions immediately using their system which is sus to say at best. I sent them emails to let them know auctions were paid. No response from either. I have sent follow ups as I have NEVER heard from anyone regarding my stuff. It is now Sept 20 and nothing has been sent!!! I will repeat one auction has been a month since it finished and was paid with nothing received or any acknowledgment of emails of payment. Horrible place. There is ZERO excuse for this. If I said this is one auction, ok things happen. Two auctions on separate occasions weeks apart? No this is how they do business. Know these problems going in. Only then you won’t be disappointed.

There shipping process is one of the slowest I have seen yet. 2-3 weeks to shipping is ridiculous.

Always a great auction house to do business with. Sadly, this may be my last auction I'll bid on from them due to the insane tariffs that will be levied on all packages coming into the US. This of course isn't GCA's fault, however, with the price of the comic (s), the buyer's primium, and tariff can't afford it all and will have to buy from US houses strictly.: (

Paid immediately and waited, and waited. Contacted them on day 10 and was told after payment cleared (Paid with a credit card not a check) it would ship in 10-14 days. Nothing, no tracking or contact by day 21 so I had to file a dispute with the card company. Was then given tracking info that day. However they would not ship unless the dispute was withdrawn. As everyone knows once you withdraw a dispute you lose all recourse against the seller. Needless to say it was not the best experience!

In 31 years in the fine art and collectibles industry, I come to expect a few professional courtesies when buying items at auction. At the very minimum I expect an auction house to DISCLOSE major flaws or damage to an item (especially a work on paper) that is not immediately apparent in an auction picture. Placing one or two pristine comic books in a series of books that are severely compromised (mold, torn internal pages, cut outs, stains, etc) without disclosing those issues in the description of the piece is dishonest at best, criminal fraud at worst. We as buyers act in good faith when we place a bid.... the very least auctioneers can do is list any adverse conditions to give the bidder the choice of bidding on a compromised item or not. After spending well over a thousand dollars on a group of comics... to receive the items (poorly packed btw) only to discover the majority of the items were compromised in a way that was not evident by the photos posted.... was extremely disappointing. Furthermore, after reaching out with a grievance and receiving no response whatsoever, I will never buy anything from this auction house ever again. You got me once... shame on you.

I purchased two photos and two jerseys with signature. I reauthenticated from reputable company (JSA) the two signed jerseys and both signed jerseys found to be fake signature.

They looked like a great auction house till it came time for shipping, had to contact twice for tracking number which I received to find items were delivered 3 days prior, to an address the postal service won't give me yet my address was correct on billing, so now I don't have my items that I paid for but I was on 2of their auctions for which I have not received a tracking number and asked them to make sure address is correct this time, yet I get no response so if you have money to just throw away then this is the place for you. Not me now I have to file claims and possibly a second claim

Check out procedure was terrible. Email I received from the auction house had no working link to their checkout. Had to go to their website and jump through hoops to pay, but there is no way to indicate what lot or lots I was paying for. I had to hope that they were able to put my name and my winning lots together as there's no verification. Once I made payment, there was no response in that payment went through. I contacted the auction house and receive no response. I contacted live auction who stated that the auction house uses their own, in-house, check out process and they had nothing to do with it but they were able to confirm that payment did go through and was received. It took longer than what I am used to to receive the lots from Canada to my home in Michigan, as I compared it to other dealings I've had with Canadian businesses. If it wasn't for the checkout process, I would have been able to write the experience much higher, but unfortunately I can't.
