This sale features a very good selection of early American historical documents, including autographs, correspondence and letters, presidential portrait prints, and a valuable copy of a mid 19thC Declaration of Independence. More interesting sub-groups within this auction include a nice lot of paperweights (one Paul Stankard), a collection of realistic fruits and vegetables, and a very good and valuable ancient Byzantine/Roman artifact selection. Among contemporary items: a grouping of Venetian 1980s masquerade ball masks and masquerade costumed figurines, each one hand modeled and painted. As with all our sales, there is a collection of MCM furniture and art. A selection of pottery, porcelain, prints, and paintings are represented here. Also included is a small number of realistically carved wood shirts, shoes, and books, all Italian. Items were exactly as described. great experience
Couldn't recommend them more highly. My only issue, is that these items came in large boxes and until I asked the deliverymen to open them they didnt > They asked me to sign for receipt, and I said how can I if I can't see what's inside. So they were ver nice, and they opened them, but left all the wrapping and huge boxes and packing materials in my home. I thought they would take it with them but they said that was a different class of delivery service??? Who knew? Otherwise great experience with Ararity. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again, and I recommend them highly.
