I appreciate that Eldred's included the maker/painter's names in the description and had nice quality pictures in the online listing. A lot of auction houses don't do this, and it does make a difference to potential buyers/collectors.

I got a beautiful painting from Elreds and they couldn't have been more accommodating and friendly! It was like working with people I've known for years. They packed up the piece incredibly carefully and didn't charge an arm and a leg. I'm very happy working with them and look forward to their auctions in the future.

I telephoned Eldred’s after I had won the auction. I paid for the item by credit card which they were excepted. I asked them about shipping since I was at least a 5 Hour Dr. away they responded they could not ship the item because they were backed up but they did have another agency they used for shipping. They said they would contact the agency and deal with them the agency would give me a call regarding the price to ship the item they did warn me that they were probably the other people are probably week and a half behind but they would contact me shortly it went exactly as they stated and I received the item within a couple of days. Was an excellent experience.

Shipped quickly to meet a tight deadline with superb packaging worth every penny of the packing and handling charge. And I don't usually say that. Would buy from Eldred's again in a heartbeat.
