Find out first whether the lot of interest is supported by in-house shipping. If not, pick the most cost effective recommended picker/shipper. It worked well for me. Overall, I had a great experience with Eldred and will be bidding again with them soon.

Eldred's posted excellent photos of all of the items up for auction. They contacted me very soon after I won my items and gave me all of the information I needed to pay for them, and sent me an invoice immediately. Once I gave them my shipping information, the items were packaged and shipped within a couple of days. They arrived safe and undamaged soon afterward. Overall, a great transaction.

We purchased this piece for a museum collection and from start to finish the staff at Eldred's was great in getting payment squared away and organizing shipment. The UPS Store that Eldred's used is incredibly impressive, they packed the piece exceptionally well and it arrived 100 % intact, no easy feat for glass of this age. We were amazed and were certainly relieved. We'll be keeping an out for other museum quality pieces in the future with Eldred's!
