Albinus has an extraordinary policy of Free Shipping... That is, they often/usually include shipping costs in the purchase price, which I find most gratifying. The pleasure of winning a treasure for $650 is considerably muted when I have to pay $300 to get it sent to me! I try to deal only with auction houses which at the very least, display shipping prices up-front, so I know what I am paying before I bid. Some Houses I frequent state a blanket cost of shipping for each item, like, "Domestic $XX" or "International $YZX" (One House I like, offers quite low prices [ $26 – $38 within the USA ] … They obviously eat some of the shipping costs! Thank you!). Others include a "Shipping Costs Calculator" for each item, depending on my Postal Code. A lot of work, but it breeds loyalty. Albinus (uniquely in my experience) offers many/most items with * no shipping charge *. This * definitely * leaves a good taste in my mouth.

The item was not as described, which Albinus sought to remedy right away. I was able to return for a full refund, however, I was out shipping costs on my end. They were overall very pleasant to deal with, however
