Winning the auction, was a good deal for me. Getting the item has been a longer story.
The won item, a Rockola Wallbox 507, was a good deal, cause it works perfect. But getting it home has last two weeks. I payed at once reciving the invoice and contacted the suporting shipping business to have send the item to my home. 2 days later I got the answer, we are waiting for the best and cheap transfer. Then I took 1 week time for my next question for transfer. 2 days later I got the invoice for transfer and payed at once. 1 day later the parcel was on it's way and two days more at my home. The package has been very very safe an good for this electronic device. Nothing was damaged and Functions are all OK. In the whole I found everything with liveauctioneers very fine and would do the next deal with them also.

Don't expect to get a response if something goes wrong
Six months ago, I was happy to be the successful bidder of an item that was properly described. Things went south from there. I needed shipping (that they offered) here to the US. It took a long time to get a quote, which I readily accepted, INCLUDING INSURANCE, and then a while longer for the item to ship. I wasn't in a rush and was happy to wait. But communication was slow with me having to often ask multiple times. I received my item and immediately saw that it was packed somewhat haphazardly. When I opened up the package, I was disappointed to find that one of the key wooden pieces of the item had broken in half. This was a real shame as it was totally preventable. At any rate, this greatly affects the value of the item and contacted the auction house for support on what to do next. No response. I emailed again, asking how to submit a claim for the broken item. Crickets. I emailed a few more times over the course of several weeks and never heard back. (I included people who had previously answered my emails so I knew they were landing in working mailboxes.) I went to Live Auctioneers to ask for their support which they were willing to do. But, again, they didn't even respond to Live Auctioneers after a few attempts! They have filed a violation on by behalf but, what a surprise, no response or action. Companies should not be measured on when things go right. They should be measured by the actions they take when things go wrong. And Dutch Auction Company clearly only serves customers if things go smoothly.
