Better shipping packaging is needed

I bought what was described as a Japanese print. It was not, avery poor photo reproduction. I am very unhappy!

Provenance inquiries about an item in the weeks leading up to an auction were never taken seriously in the way that reputable auction houses do. A unique signed lithograph had sold at another auction in 2023, framed and with provenance. Mason and McIntosh were now selling the same signature-identical lithograph with no frame or provenance. I asked why the frame and provenance had been removed. Mason and McIntosh promised additional photos and information over a 10-day period but never provided any photos or anything to help, despite many messages back and forth. I eventually realized I was getting strung along until the auction was over. Then when the shipment arrived damaged, Mason and McIntosh wouldn't return my calls for help. Oh, and the lot was not legitimate, as confirmed by a reputable 3rd-party appraiser. Additional red flags: The lot was specifically listed as residing in Delaware but shipped from Florida. And Mason and McIntosh are listed as being in Delaware, but their contact phone number goes to some lady's cellphone in Miami. Buy at your own risk.
