Burd Street Auctions

Burd Street Auctions (license no. AY002520) was established by Pennsylvania licensed auctioneer Grace Silla (license no. AU006416) after fifteen years in the trade as a specialist dealer of antiques and fine art dealer with our sister company, SILLA, ltd. We have become well-known for careful cataloging and research, thoughtful photography, exacting and precise condition reports and a friendly and highly responsive team.
Burd Street Auctions was created as a place where new collectors can confidently begin their journey, and where seasoned collectors can refine their holdings, rehome select pieces, or manage the sale of entire estates or corporate collections with care and discretion. Whether selling a single object or managing a transition, the auction gallery offers an efficient and low-stress method for clients to market their complex property. And by working with a well-established gallery with a deep book of business, clients have the opportunity to market their collection in front the retail client base of SILLA and to the broader national and international marketplace through a widely distributed and fully catalogued online auction.
Our company is always looking for high quality consignments in the specializations of:
Fine Art
Sculpture
Folk Art
Antique Furniture (English, American, French)
Modern Furniture and Design
Jewelry
Silver, Coins and Medals
Rugs
Decorative Objects
Serving the Mid-Atlantic with a Local Touch and National Reach Conveniently located in south-central Pennsylvania, Burd Street Auctions was founded to serve a growing need in the corridor between New York City, Washington D.C., Pittsburgh, and Baltimore—regions with world-class markets but little mid-tier infrastructure in between. Our convenient gallery location just 5 minutes off of Route 81 and 15 minutes off of Route 76 offers a strategic advantage for collectors, estates, and institutions across Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey, West Virginia, and northern Virginia who seek personal service without the high overhead of big-city auction houses.
The gallery offers easy on-site parking and a 9,000 square foot gallery space that is open by appointment and during our open-house and preview periods.

Great Experience Overall
Grace and Andrew were very helpful. The piece looks exactly like the images. I appreciate the attention to detail and information provided, including dimensions. The only thing that was very tricky was picking up the piece – they are only open hours M-F, 10-4. This is really challenging to fit into the work week to make the 2.5hr drive from Philly and taking time from work (I'm a psychotherapist, so I had to rearrange clients to pick up an item for myself, and that is really challenging to justify personally). That said, the showroom is beautiful – they have so many beautiful pieces (just wish I could have spent more time to look and potentially buy another piece). Andrew helped wrap the piece and get it into the truck, which was very kind of him and much appreciated. Thank you so much, and I will definitely check back to see their future auctions. Thank you so much Burd Street Auctions!
